March 13, 2023 - predictions and things to watch for

1. Integrating a database of the actual source training material with the LLM will be a huge leap forward. If the LLM is able to re-read the source material in context and quote it precisely many of the accuracy and misunderstandings can be confronted.

2. Hubrid systems that can connect to real-time Internet daily, like a search engine gets daily updates and near real-time updates, will be another huge leap forward.

Neither of these will require huge changes, it's predictable evolution like what search engines went through 15 to 20 years ago.

March 20, 2023 outages and the opening to India on March 17, 2023.

I think it is Google and Meta who didn't want to deploy it until they solved all the problems.

OpenAI wasn't in it just for the money, they actually let everyday people have access to the technology when others kept it restricted.

There is a whole generaiton of Internet users out ther who do not understand a one-to-one session concept. This isn't just search engine results that can be cached, or a Twitter poasting that goes out to 50,000 readers with the same posting. This is interactive with specialized hardware (GPU) running the model. And many who have been around since the 1990's are procliaming they have never seen something catch the public imagination like this.
