March 13, 2023 session with ChatGPT plus using the "default" model choice. ChatGPT 3.5 interactive session (not using the API or any app, but actual OpenAI website on a desktop web browser).

ANALYSIS
Right away ChatGPT fabricates a reference that it claims it can access on the Live Internet, which it can not do. Completely bogus: "Atari Breakout: The Story Behind Breakout's Creation. (n.d.). Retrieved March 13, 2023, from https://www.lifewire.com/breakout-history-and-story-2498381" - as are all the quotes it provides from that story.

Not only are the quotes bogus, they do not get the concepts of who did what correctly. The fabricated quote claims that Jobs created the concept of Breakout, when factually it was Bushnell who created the concept and asked Jobs to help build it.
